TED talk:Why 30 is not the new 20

We're almost 20s now. And the late decade that is so important to us. The speaker said that we all know that 80 percent  of life's most defining moments take place by age 35. That means that eight out of 10 of the decisions and experiences and "Aha!" moments that make your life what it is will have happened by your mid-30s.

For example, Maybe we think that the best married age is 30,not the 20, even 25,but the best time to work on your marriage is before you have one, and that means being as intentional with love as you are with work. Picking your family is about consciously choosing who and what you want rather than just making it work or killing time with whoever happens to be choosing you.

And that just like airplanes, the earlier we can choose the correct line, the easier to achieve.

Anyone of us

I like this song so much. At first I was attracted by its melody, it sounded good.  I searched its lyrics on the Internet and found that its meaning was about a man that he did something which  made his lover misunderstood him. And he wanted her can forgive him.

Lyric

I've been letting you down, down
Girl I know I've been such a fool
Giving in to temptation
When I should've played it cool
The situation got out of hand
I hope you understand

[Chorus]
It can happen to..
Anyone of us, anyone you think of
Anyone can fall
Anyone can hurt someone they love
Hearts will break
'Cause I made a stupid mistake
It can happen to..
Anyone of us, say you will forgive me
Anyone can fail
Say you will believe me
I can't take my heart will break
'Cause I made a stupid mistake
A stupid mistake

She was kind of exciting
A little crazy I should've known
She must have altered my senses
'Cause I offered to walk her home
The situation got out of hand
I hope you understand

[Chorus]

A stupid mistake
she means nothing to me
(nothing to me)
I swear every word is true
don't wanna lose you

Words

temptation
the desire to do or have something that you know is bad or wrong
ex.I couldn't resist the temptation to open the letter.

My thoughts and new findings on ESL Cyber Listening Lab

I have a course at NTUB which introduces some good websites to us and helps us to learn English easier. That is CALL.

Last week, teacher gave us a good learning website, it is  ESL Cyber Listening. In this web, we can train our listening, and it has classified its listening from easy to difficult that we can choose something  suit us to learn. If you don't understand what this listening is talking about ,the web also has script can help us to learn. I feel that having a script could help me learn English listening much clearer, because I'm not good at listening, I often don't know what the listening is talking about, even I listen it twice or more, but when I have a script, if I don't understand the listening at first time, I could read the script and listen to it  second time, I would understand the listening more. So I think it is a good recourse to us to train our listening.
